G4 from me too! Might as well jump on the bandwagon. Congrats on the key date!

I keep looking at it... We want one, it would finish our Mercury set off, but we can't afford one.. I love this one, fit right into out set... Reveal the grade...

RESULTS: NGC Graded this beauty at AG-3. I have certainly seen G-4's that don't look any better, so if it is AG it is a darn good one, in my opinion.

The reason I went with AG-3 on this coin was because of the heavy wear on the the rim, and how it has sort of "blended" with Liberty on the Obverse. Either way, It's a great coin!

I would agree with that AG-3 due to the weak rims. However, it could show quite a bit more wear and still receive the same grade. So, it's a PQ (premium quality) example!
I think CAC limits their special stickers to mint state coins; otherwise, this one should merit one of those Green Beans!

If you want an honest opinion, and I'm not going to mince words, I believe it was net graded for cleaning. It's an easy G04 on remaining detail but the surfaces appear cleaned (at least in the images) and 1916-D Mercs get slabbed problem-free with issues all the time. Again, this is my opinion only and in reality getting a G04 detailed coin with a light cleaning for AG3 money is worth it for this date. I'd be very happy with it.

Good buy for an AG3, I would of add the plus and make it AG3+

I paid a bit more than average for AG-3, so I am happy to have something with this much detail. If it was cleaned at least it wasn't unattractive.
