It's OK...every collector make his decision what to buy.

Could be,that for some "Pure modern NCLT collector" the 1948 Silver Dollar not different from 1947 one.

But as "penny collector" isn't it better for you to get the 2012 Penny from the 2012 Silver Proof set? It also .9999 Silver, proof, with pink gold plating and the size of the original Penny (1 cent)

Thats so nice, aswitzer!

Really liked this variety....

For myself I still can not decide - do I want/need the 2012 Proof Silver set (as the last one that has the Penny + special Penny + special Loony double-dated), or just the Penny from this set.

I just got back from my LCS. He had both the 1/25 oz gold coin and the 1/2 oz silver. I really liked the design so I bought both of them.
