Dear people from the forum,

Ive got an coin which looks like it is an 5 kurus coin from abdul hammid II 1293 . I think on the other side you see that it is minted in 1907?

After some rechearch is saw that there are a lot of varities of these coin. In particulair the thing next to the oil lamp and a lot other things.
I hope someone can give me an right determination if possible ofcourse?

The diameter is almost 24 mm and the weight is 5,84 gram

The "oil lamp" is known as a "toughra", and is actually the Sultan's signature.

The coin is dated accession year 1293, regnal year 33. This converts to AH 1325, or AD 1907. There is, as far as I can tell, only one variety with this date: KM# 737.

Hello Sap,
Thank you for the conformation about this coin. Unfortunatly I can't open the link you sended. Some kind of error occured.. On the bottom of my coin there is double minting or something? On the bottom of the backside with the toughra. I don't know how you call that ?

I do not think it is double minting. Fault in the plate? Wear of the die?
