Feel free to post any pictures of coins that you feel have been photoshopped?

Here's one from the 'bay' that has obviously been over 'softened' in order to lessen the surface marks of the coin and make it look a whole lot better than it actually is.

Seeing as we grade on the wear of the 8 jewels in the band of the crown,...it would now have to grade G 4...details.."With perfect fields"...

Wow. That's probably one of the worst photoshop attempts on a coin I have ever seen.

a really bad photoshop job. is noticeable at the edges of the letters that the photo softened but whoever did it did badly. be careful with these people who engage in these tricks

Oh George Five, what have they done to thee?

I cannot comment on Photoshop, but the first reaction that I had was
slightly nauseous. Nothing natural about the 'coin' remains.

OK, this is slightly better work, but this ebay seller's coins all have the same, nearly perfect fields:

Eddio, beautiful toning on that one. Was that the intention of the seller? Or did his kid just color it in?

I'd have to see a few more pics of that doubled CANADA & 1999..because the beads are OK..beaver is just a bit fuzzy..

...colour is probably for our benefit..Tilting a coin is never good..

Or the color was a pathetic attempt to hide the photoshopping?
