Looking to put together silver eagle burnished set, 2006, 07,08,11,12, and 13. Either slab or OGP. What's your thought on this set and any suggestions on the best place to purchase them.

A very nice low mintage subset ASE's.

Not relatively expensive for the mintage numbers. You may have to shop around, APMEX, Provident, Silvertowne, MCM ................ to find in stock

They are a great buy at current prices. Low mintages and a full ounce of silver.

The For Sale section on this website has the '07 and '08 relatively cheap! Buy from a CCF member!

They are a great looking set to put together!

2013 just might be the lowest sales numbers of all burnished surface regular issue eagles.

IndianGoldEagle, I almost agree with you. While the mintage numbers are very low, the coin is not listed in the Last Chance section on the Mints website. So these coins will be available into 2014. Personally I wouldn't mind if the 2013 burnished ASE was the lowest mintage, but it will probably sell out near the 2012 burnished ASE numbers.

The 2013 coin has just sold out. The number is low, but we'll have to wait until the remaining coins sold in the Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set are completed.

2013, as you said, is probably sold out as "Backordered" usually means their nearly gone.

A better deal is the annual dollar set which is only a buck more AND you get 5 dollar coins thrown in with the W

According to Mint News Blog... 2012 sold 230,872 (28,316 of those in the Dollar set) and as of right now the 2013 is at 196,578 also with the Dollar sets (18,006)... if the 2013 annual dollar set sells the same number or close this will certainly be a new low.
