You charged $16 on this listing for tracked shipping. Did you send it the way the listing said it would be shipped?

@gotboostedvr6 - You're seeing the shipping that would have been charged if it went to a buyer in the US. :-)

Moral of the story?
Always use tracking or expect bad things to happen.

Don't forget that you can always leave a feedback follow up for your bad Buyer. I've left not-so-positive follow up comments for Buyers and wouldn't hesitate to do so in a case like this. Something like "buyer filed a CC chargeback after receiving item" goes a long way in warning others. (I know you can't leave false positives with original feedback). I went back and looked and all the follow up feedback I've ever left and it is still there.

This is always a fear of mine, which is why I always put tracking on any item I sell on ebay that is over $20.00. I hear these kinds of things happening a lot, and it makes me mad too. Glad to see things look like they are kind of worked out now.

I see there has been a reply to your wife's negative comment regarding the buyer. Plus there are others who seem to share your opinion - see the comment for a sale on 19 November. I know seller's cannot leave negative comments regarding a buyer, but do you have to leave any comment? It's a very odd combination for the one above.

Neil - I had something similar happen to me. Someone bought something worth like $300, left positive feedback, and about 4 months later filed a dispute on their credit card. I had insured the purchase and had a signature, but threw away the receipt months before, and PayPal wouldn't accept the positive feedback (and even a message from the buyer saying they had received it) as proof.
Best of luck pursuing it, but I had no luck in doing so.
