As another sweet "Days of ..." thread comes to a reluctant close, we find ourselves bereft of a follow-on "Days of..." thread. I'm leaning towards another 7070 thread... or a type of Seated Liberty coins... or maybe even Indian Head cents. I'm completely open to other ideas, however. Tell me what you're thinking!!  |

As many of us have diverse collections across the spectrum of minted coins we all have our favorites or current favorites as a new addition may be. How about a thread of your top 12 favorite classic US coins. You could have great variety on each day and see the special treasures we all hold dear in our collections. |

It's been 3+ years since the Seated Liberty coinage thread. About a year before I joined the forum. The Seated Half thread was great and I'm sure you have added quite a bit to your excellent collection since then and I would enjoy seeing dsfreeworld's splendiferous Seated dimes. I don't have a lot to add but I must cast my vote for Seated coinage. |

I too vote for the seated liberty series, any and all denominations in some form or another. Maybe by types/decades/denominations?

Been 2 1/2 years since you have done Indian Heads so that would be cool. Maybe add an extra couple days for Flying Eagles? I am copper biased though so......

Would it be better to explain why ? A thread about wheat cents with the different varieties and grades explaining why. A thread of Buffalo nickels with the different varieties ................ Just trying to enhance the idea, "Education is.................  The old / new threads "Days of.." are a learning experience in them self.  |

I cannot get my pics uploaded for some reason, but maybe the days of silver eagles, toned coins, or early silver coins would be a good idea. I also like the idea of a CC mint days of... we will see Edited by CoinCollector2012

Consider at least another run at circulated coins ... VG10 and lower. I know ... I'm a fan of circ coins and always enjoy showing them off.  David |
