One of my favorite coins I own. The strike on this coin is to die for. Also the luster and even surfaces are very nice too. If not for the hit on the bridge of the nose this would be an easy 66

They don't get much better than that.

Super .... IMHO, deserves better than a 65. I strongly suspect that the brown color is why it's not higher ... prejudicial!

No I did not take the pic. Neither did NGC These pictures are done by Bob Campbell known as robec own several coin forums. Here is a link to his website. http://www.robecsimages.com/index.htmlI think I have seen you post at either NGC or PCGS so you have probably seen his photos before. Check out the great pics he did for me in this thread https://goccf.com/t/165061I think NGC should hire him. These pics are through the slab unreal

IMO, one of the worst Wheats I have seen. Send it to me for FV, so I can add it to the rest of my junk Wheats. Super NICE cent, great addition to your collections.

Wow. Just wow. That is a titanic strike. Slight weakness at the top of the reverse, and otherwise you could mistake it for a Proof strike. 66 is Top Pop for this one, in any color (hint: there's a PCGS 66RD with a Jack Lee pedigree), and I can see the TPG's exercising real caution with the grade. That said, coppertoning, you're right - without that nose hit, this is one of those 66's. I have a personal weakness for Brown Gem Lincolns, and I'm living large watching these threads. Good thing I'm no longer actively collecting them; you'd have made me give up anyway.

That is one strikingly beautiful coin. The unblemished evenness of the toning is what catches my eye.

Absolutely GORGEOUS! And yes, that is a 66 all day without that hit.
