$8k for a pair of $25.00 coins? Yep he's a dreaming - The entire Ike set according to PCGS pricing in PR69DCAM is only $557 today. Now put that 1973-S in a PCGS holder @ PR70DCAM then maybe...

I wouldn't buy it even then, but the 73-S in 70DCAM is over $8K alone.

Wow!! I can't believe the Ike's I bought on ebay last year for $34 are worth that much.
I was going to do a little Xmas shopping later today; now I know I can go hog-wild and spend like crazy since I now know I've got a bundle of cash in my Ike folder.

The worst part of all this is he only has two. Why for that price I'd have purchased a hundred of them for gifts. What a deal.

I think he forgot a decimal point. I don't have a graysheet, but I would think a 1973-S PF-68 Ultra Cameo should be a fairly nice coin. (I remember when the regular ungraded ones were $150) The 72-S though is hazing which would be a real turnoff to me. (And personally I wouldn't agree with NGC about those coins being UCAM.)
