What do you think? A little crusty, but honest circulation! Edited by EFLargeCents 12/21/2013 09:24 am

I'll be bit of a rebel and say AU-50. If not then definitely a XF-45 in my opinion.

I have it at 35, possibly 40, and the rarest of all Seated issues: a Reverse-limited coin.

Nice! This looks a lot like my type example detail wise. What is that "line" coming down from her cap? As long as that is not damage, I think she'd go 45. btw, crusty is a GOOD thing! ;-)

Lovely one year example. Observe is a solid XF 45 but the reverse looks to be VF 35. I still think NGC gave it a XF 45.

Quote: I'll be bit of a rebel and say AU-50. If not then definitely a XF-45 in my opinion. That would be a rebel with a cause. I agree the detail here is very close to AU50 but I doubt NGC went that high with the gouges in the obverse. They're not big but are in key areas so that would take it to 45 for me. The reverse was likely a touch weak off the dies and could drop it all the way to XF40 but I believe XF45 is the fair grade.

EF45 might even have a plus designation, so close to AU and even an AU grade won't surprise me, beautiful half dollar!
