I'm going to say AU50. It looks original to me. What happened to the shield?

water and rag wipes from 1897 dont really count as "cleaned" if you ask me

I'm with dsfreeworld - looks like it may have been lightly cleaned about 100 years ago, but all original since then! Beautiful Half Dime I grade it AU55!

Looks nice and original to me!! I would grade AU-50...I'd go higher if I could see more luster.
