Hi,

These coins were given to me in China in the 1970s. I've always been curious what they are and if any of them have value. Thanks!

The first 57 coins are cash coins from China or Japan...

Coin A I'm not even going to comment on authenticity, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of fakes of those coins out there...

Coin B I don't know. Coin C is French...

Thanks for the info.

One more question - do you think there is anything of particular value or am I safe to dispose of them at a flea market or yard sale?

Coin B is from Manchukuo, a Japanese puppet state during WWII. It is 1 1 Jiao, marked as Year 3. http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces23254.html

As far as value, why don't you take them to a coin store?

Coin A has some value IF (and a big if) it is real.

As far as the cash coins go, I see some that are common. Stuff I can pull out the the twenty-five cent bin at the store. Other things seem less common to me. Or I just haven't seen the mint marks before. Coins with out the 'boo,' the mark on the left reverse of coin 1 are not as common. (Coin 1 to 18 all seem to have the boo mark). But less common is very relative with chinese coins, as these cash coins were very small change.
