I don't normally collect bills however this low serial number caught
my eye.
Is it worth a premium or should I just spend it?

I would definitely keep. Better knowledge here than me to tell you the value

For a common bill like that I'm not sure there would be any value even with a low serial such as that one. Although it'd be best to keep it until an expert gives the I opinion.

As a rule of thumb any number under 1000 is a keeper.

That's a cool bill! I don't know anything about how common it is in Canada or the serial number, but I really like hockey being featured on it!

Would probably get $15 for it on ebay.

Any serial under 1000 is nice to get your hands on... however you do have some condition issues with this note....

I think for this series you may look at around $20 premium for UNC.... I would keep it personally until I could find a better condition one.

If you're really not that interested in keeping the note I would say see what you would get for it on the bay... I would suspect it would be somewhere between 10 & 15 bucks...

I am purely "into the coins"...but I kept the $5 bill (the best condition that I could find), since it "more Canadian" (IMO) than the new one, and reminds the childhood...
And the Serial Number - additional bonus.

Another thing:
I believe, many collectors noticed (long time ago), that the water mark of "half visible 5" is actually exactly the same as Hebrew word "Arm". So, it was just interesting curious, till the new polymer $5 arrived with...."Canada Arm" on it.

Why can't the U.S. put sports on their notes? That is a really nice looking piece.
