My special coins go to my collection, those random coins I have go to my collection, practically all my coins go to my collection!
(actually, I put those random coins in my drawer of other random items).

A plastic water cooler jug painted with a textured paint does the job. Gets sorted through once a year, cashed in and used for vacation.

Since I roll hunt and have to dump 2-3 times a week I just throw the change I get in with the bags of coin going out on the next dump.

I placed my coins in a display galleryâ€"in a small room where my coins are organized and in years will appreciate. Aside from enjoying bitcoin mining, collecting coins is my first love. For me, my most sought-after coins simply give me joy and fulfillment to have them.

Quote: When the urge to pick it up strikes, they are put into a bank with the Tootsie Roll logo on it. Quote: I use to have a tootsie roll one when I was a kid kinda wish I still had it. I had one as well.

I stash loose change in the ash tray of my pickup truck when out and about. Otherwise it goes into a cigar box on my dresser at the end of the day. After a few months, I'll go through both of those places and pull out anything interesting for the collection. Anything that doesn't get pulled goes into a large plastic deposit bag for the next time I go to the bank (I roll search periodically and have a few such deposits a year).

I throw my loose change into my 1981 Planters Nut jar, 75th anniversary edition. I have been doing this since, well, 1981. I take to the bank every once in awhile.

I have an old thick heavy glass 5 gallon water jug. It won't fit halves but, doesn't matter as I don't get any in change. Only nickles, dimes, and quarters go into it and we usually cash it in once a year. When I was a server at a restaurant, it wasn't uncommon for us to fund entire vacations after a year of saving. I love me some change!
