Well the title says it all.
Just tell what you collect,your first coin\bill and when you started collecting.
I'll start I have collected since 2008\9 I collect canadian silver dollars and my first coin purchase if I can recall is a 1935 canadian silver dollar.

Since age 12. I'm now 43. Ancient Greek coin got me started and it's funny..I'm getting back into them after many years of collecting U.S.coins :-)

I had always saved commemorative quarters from circulation when I was a kid.

I guess I actually started collecting around age 10 though. So almost 10 years.

I have collected at some level since I was 10. I really didn't get serious at all until I was in my twenties though... in my forties now.

Probably more than five decades.
I started in my early teens with a gold coin: an 1872 Sydney Mint half sovereign. I acquired my first ancient Roman coin (a denarius of Antoninus Pius), when I was 18.

I collect coins mostly, My first coin was a 1859 large cent and I have been collecting for 6 year`s.

I started when I was six... My first coin was a 1962 Japanese 50 yen coin.

Since june of 2013, I found a 1874H ten cent, I think that started it off. So I quite often come up with some pretty cool finds while out detecting. I try to collect just about anything I find lol. I've sold off a bit, but the old school canada and us currency I love.

I started collecting 1n 1992...so 21 years now. First coin was a nickel half dollar given to me as change from the school librarian. Then the 1992 quarter series got me hooked.
