Rather unimpressed tbh, nice to see WWI commemorated but the two new one pound coins look very basic, the removal of all fine detail will certainly please the many counter-fitters.

Yes - that's what I thought. In principle the recruting poster one should be great - but it's looks rather cartoonish. The plant £1's are rather uninspiring too as we've done plants before.

I know what you mean, for something that should be a sombre remembrance it just doesn't look right. At least it dosn't say "Keep calm and carry on collecting commemorative coins"
