Quote:You gotta love this one! It's a "1917 weat back penny aberham Lincoln s" opening at $34.00. Other than the fact that is it a 1918-S, it is a stellar example of spelling ability. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2835605491...283560549110 Not only all that, Paul, but the seller requires Local Pickup only from Vancouver, Washington! So the lucky winner gets to meet this Spelling Bee savante.

At least this person has better spelling skills. The numismatic skills are still lacking

One that jason39305 posted a couple of weeks ago. It SOLD for $76! I did some searching and found the real ANACS graded coin. I wonder if the buyer followed through on the sale. Quote:This "superb" error coin looks just like a normal Franklin. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1962-D-ANA...AOSwGfZdDr6Q 362684888157What the buyer got... What the buyer wanted... I'm watching the feedback to see if the buyer is happy or not. Edited to correct my dyslexia. Edited to add sale ID number.

From what I can see here, the seller may net a cool 5 cents out of this Kennedy half dollar if the bid stays at 55 cents. I don't know tho, is there not an ebay listing fee and/or or paypal fee most of the time tho? If so, would this mean that the seller would be taking a loss? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-D-Ken...AOSw4DJdOPTUbtw, I have one exactly like it if anybody here wants to wheel and deal about it before it lists on the bay. Only the high-end members here need to flood my inbox about it tho...

Apparently, that seller ran into some common Kennedy halves in decent shape and decided to see what happens. That's all they have listed. It's an exercise in futility, though. They're gonna lose money with ebay and PayPal fees. Oh well.
