The '74 Ike. Another AI generated description: '...unique find for any...', ...'sure to stand out'..., '...a must-have...'

To be fair, 'its beauty is unmatched.'

Reminds me somewhat of the LIPPS, Inc album cover from 1980, featuring Funkytown

For sale, a 1942 Henning nickel. The seller helpfully provides a picture of a real 1942-P War Nickel on the right, and the "fake" 1942 nickel without a mint mark on the left.

I was tempted to message the seller and inform them about the cupronickel 1942 nickels struck at Philadelphia before it transitioned to War Nickel production, but arguing with such folks on the Internet is not my core competency.

yep, not a Henning nickel - wrong year completely - they were dated 1939, 1944, 1946, 1947, and 1953
I messaged him and told him that it is not a Henning and pointed him to https://www.error-ref.com/henning-c...feit-nickel/

I tried to make an offer of 5¢ but ebay wouldn't let me. I sold a 1944 Henning for $250 - it was listed for less than 12 hours before selling.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
