1990 Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Or Machine Doubling

jcuve Valued Member United States 142 Posts	Posted 01/02/2014 2:26 pm I agree, what you are seeing SE of the date toward the rims is from die wear. Plated Lincoln cents tend to produce incuse die wear that shadows the devices on the periphery. There could also be some plating disturbance (puffiness) nearby. Also something common to plated Lincoln cents in the same regions of the coin. Report this Post to the Staff
