You have to remember that it's ebay. My guess is that at any given time 10% of the coins in the error section are just damaged misrepresented coins whether by an ill informed seller/lack of knowledge or with intent to deceive is pretty prevalent.Think about that,That's a lot of coins you have to be weary of. You just need to research the item and distinguish between whats genuine and whats crap to put it bluntly.

Looks like a Dryer Coin to me.
My conscience would prevent me from selling such an item to the unwary on ebay.

The coin was exposed to an acidic environment which eats away the copper core faster than the copper-nickel outside layers. No honest seller would knowingly sell this. Unfortunately dishonest or uneducated sellers would. The education of what to look for is one of the many benefits of this forum.
