War Nickel - Missing/Very Weak Mint Mark

middle coin on the top row is a 1943 P War Nickel. You can BARELY make out the mint mark in person. cannot make it out on the photo. Someone else just posted one on the nickel CRH forum and then I find this one the day after. The other finder said they cannot make out a mint mark AT ALL. Mine pictured below is barely legible.

I am thinking it is Struck Through Grease. not much else it could be in my mind unless the die was very worn.

May be struck through. It could also be that someone rubbed it off for god know what reason.

A little grease on the die and years of wear...or any number of other logical reasons. Probably too many to ever guess them all...
