Got this for next to free thanks to my ebay bucks

The octopus is my favorite animal so I have been looking at these.
Not too bad. Arethusa is faint but the reverse isn't too bad.

It will be the oldest coin in my collection once I get it in hand.

Love the 'freebies' now that I have ten 'bucks' myself I need to break my vow of non expenditure.
Well I still have a few weeks to find something 'green'.

Sicilian coins are always good. High demand too.

Before it was tooled the reverse probably had all the clarity of detail that the obverse has.

Hmm, I have received the coin in hand and see dirt all around the devices and edge (Obverse and reverse). The octopus has patina all around.
This coin is uncleaned.
If there is tooling, it happened long ago..before being buried.

Look forward to seeing the cleaned coin. I love octopi, they are so intelligent.
