Don't know why I haven't posted this before; I got it at last year's FUN show. It's currently my only Carson City Morgan. No evidence to my eye that the surfaces are cleaned by anything other than fingers handling it. Characteristic doubling of VAM-6: Looking at these, I'm getting more luminance noise than I like. That stuff's hard to process out because it costs sharpness.

Fine.
I'm on the fence whether it's a 12 or 15.

I'll go with F-12. Nice pickup!

I would think it would squeak by at a Fine 12 if slabbed Dave. Or, let me put it another way. I would buy this coin at VG10 price and sell at F12. Also the photograph you provided shows many vertical hairlines which to me would suggest "you know what". You've always been honest with me Dave, so there you go.

Nice Morgan! That's a date that I hope to add to my collection soon.

I would go with F15, it's worn more in some spots than a 15 but then looks better in other spots

Nice double date I think this is my first time seeing you post a coin for review in 18 months on this site

I'm not going back through thousands of posts on my part to find out. Probably a year, since last year's FUN show. Haven't been buying lately.

Nice I was sort of expecting to see a tail bar when I saw your name and the date, alas not to be, I'd say honest wear on this one a solid F12.

Gotta comment just cause SD posted it. The lady has seen some things in her life. I'm not convinced it was cleaned. I'm thinking they are just normal circulation scratches. F12

Hard to believe it's the only CC Morgan you have at the moment....but I am sure you have had tons in the past.
Looks like honest wear, F-15 to these eyes.
