I have made a few coin collages using pictures from auction catalogs and other sources. This measures 8 inches wide by 9 inches high. It along with 11 others make up my "Quilt Collage".

I'll share the completed picture as soon as I locate it.

Mods if this is in the wrong forum feel free to move it to a more appropriate one.

Interesting subject, I have some plastic coasters, (broken and scattered in some box now) they had Indian cents and Buffalo nickels, I was even thinking about making some kind of collage or sculpture with all the trash coins the bank will not take back, biggest problem with CRH I have run into, but from what I have read on it I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

If this is a real quilt how did you finish the border?
My sister is a quilting freak.
Your design is called a tessellation in mathematics. Along with squares and triangles,
it is one of three designs which extend infinitely in all directions.
I like it!

It's a paper quilt.

The "foundation" is a piece of printer paper. The pattern was then traced on it. The "red" pieces were cut out and glued down. The blue lines were laid down over the seams. The flag colored paper covered the remaining white printer paper.

It's basically assembled in layers with Elmer's stick glue.

This picture isn't the greatest. Frame measurements are 27 inches wide by 41 high.
