I do not see anything that would make this an error coin. More than likely it took a hit or it's caused by circulation

Just to be safe, I would take it down for now until it can be confirmed.

I'm guessing it's a grease-filled die, striking coins that look like "0 Francs"
A thin design element might fill with grease pretty easily.

I think what the person is making reference to is the fact that it's a 10 francs coin but there's no numeral (1) and only the zero....

Grease Filled Die is a very common error. The location of it on your coin does make it more interesting than a typical example.
