I have a simple question. How many troy ounces equals the US pound?

For example to achieve a US pound how many ASE do I have to collect?

By US pound I assume you mean avoirdupois pound which is exactly 453.59237 grams. An ASE is ~ one troy ounce which is 31.1034768 grams. ASE usually weight slightly over one troy ounce so lets use 31.11g. That means 14.58 ASEs equal one U.S. (avoirdupois) pound as LincolnGuy noted.
