It really does look like the pics though so you may be seeing that lighter dust like look to it as well. It's surfaces are totally smooth and not pitted and still has some luster. It's an old cleaning, the coin mostly retoned. The toning is uneven due to the cleaning. The surfaces are dry and splotchy - if original, it would be a simple, nice and even brown.
