Another risk on a bad pic from ebay. It came along with a three other wheaties from the 30's and 40's... thoughts?

I admit, I may have sharpened it a bit too much. It really does look like the pics though so you may be seeing that lighter dust like look to it as well. It's surfaces are totally smooth and not pitted and still has some luster.

It's an old cleaning, the coin mostly retoned. The toning is uneven due to the cleaning. The surfaces are dry and splotchy - if original, it would be a simple, nice and even brown.

Rule of thumb - If just doesn't look 100% right, it probably isn't.

Gotcha. Any chance of continuing that toning so it someday ceases being a details coin? Maybe a window sill or something?
