But this is where I stumble so maybe you guys can help me out but, it looks like it has been cleaned at some point because of the areas around the device. They are notably lighter than the fields. Is this a cleaning or is it a break in the luster (I hear that a lot here but still can't see what you see). That odd spot you mentioned, the rims and the strange dark line behind his head make my eyes go all over the place with this coin but it's pretty dang awesome none-the-less! Yeah, the spot and the light areas on the rim are kind of detracting...not sure what caused it, but it doesn't appear to be cleaned. It might lower the grade a bit though.
