Ebay Coin Cracker/ Reseller

I can guess that detail coins from the FUN auctions will show up on ebay as problem free raw coins in a few weeks

What you should take from it is to not buy expensive coins unless you KNOW the seller well and/or know your coins and have the chance to examine them in hand. If you have to depend on someone else completely, or nearly completely, you probably should be buying less expensive coins. After all it's your money not someone else's at risk.
