Beautiful SLQ!

Can you tell me what the adjectives "semi-crusty" and "crispy" mean? I am not experienced enough with coins to be "up on the lingo!" ;)

Crusty is usually heavy tarnish or black growth stuff
and crispy is just a term I made up for her (for lack
of a better word).. ..She is neither.

Toned? Original? Wholesome, maybe better?

Some may say the toning (tarnish) gives her a "cameo" (contrasting) look.

Very nice circulation cameo! That thing is dripping with eye appeal. I agree with 30.

I'm in the VF30 camp also.

Here is a sample NGC graded SLQ VF30 1917 Type 1.
It has (slightly) more detail than my original coin pic.
(the OP coin has arguably more character).

They both look VF30 to me.

NGC VF30 Sample:
1917-Type-1-SLQ-Standing-Liberty-Quarter,-Semi-Crusty..

OP pic:
