Hey All, A friend of mine recently got into collecting. He's a novice, and often asks me the best ways to find valuable stuff in circulation. I've told him a few things to look for, but not to expect to find anything of tremendous value. I mentioned that he could always go take bills out of the ATM and see if any interesting serial numbers are in there. Lo and behold, he takes $200 in $20s out of the ATM the first time, and finds a solid! My grading skills for paper aren't good. This note is circulated, and I took the photos to emphasize the crease(s) in the middle. There's no tears, and the corners look near perfect to me. I will be listing this on ebay tomorrow night (unless anyone on here wants to make a deal before that), but what grade should I advertise it as, and what should he expect it to fetch ($400 - $500 seems to be the ballpark?) Thanks!

Quote: and what should he expect it to fetch ($400 - $500 seems to be the ballpark?) $400-$500 seems like a reasonable price.

$400-500 really? There are collectors that are willing to pay that much? Please update us with your auction results when it completes.

Thanks for the input. When I put it on, I'll call it VF+. I'll link to it in case anyone is interested.

Has anyone seen a polymer solid as of yet? I'm surprised by how quickly this note has reached $350. I don't think it's going to go for more than I originally expected, but I'm wondering if it's getting so much response based on it being the first up for auction. I did a bit of looking around on ebay and a couple auction sites and haven't seen any as of yet.
