I looks like a 1 rial from Yemen. I see the date AH1344.

Correct! It is Y#7 in Krause. This coin actually has 2 dates: AH1322 and AH1344. This coin has been minted several years but with the date frozen (so no seperate date for each year).

It should weigh around 28 grams and should be made of silver. Please have a carefull look to the edge since also copper "trial" pieces exist and therefore it would not astonish me if a "trial" piece was silvered.
