I think I was lucky enough to come across a rare find, it's a dime but I have never seen anything like it. It looks as if the die pressed way too hard and the rim of this coin is blown up to make it like a mini cup on both sides of the coin. The date is what looks like 2013 or 2012 but I doubt this has been in circulation for very long. Cashier gave it to me and I was so excited! I just want to know did I stumble on some thing big or is my imagination running away with me :) I am using my cell phone to post so I can't do photos, if you would like to see it email me and I'll send photo of this crazy thing!

Umm... this is called a strike through and they are fairly common in some years. Pictures would help.

Images will help a lot. It might be Post Strike Damage or an error. But without seeing anything it is hard to guess. I like images. It saves thousands of words.
