n9jig Pillar of the Community United States 997 Posts	Posted 01/16/2014 9:26 pm The guy had 2 other 25's (one of the last ones I needed) of similar condition and prices that I was thinking of buying as well but another guy was looking at the same set of stuff I was and wanted them. Since he was there first he got them and I got this one. I also got a half dozen 1800's large cents, a bunch of silver 5c and a couple dimes to fill in some holes. I wish he had a 23 small cent, 1858 and 1891 large cents, I could have completed my Cents collection! For large Nickels I only need a tombac 42, a 51 Low Relief and a few 2000's to fill those books. Canada has roughly a tenth the population of the USA, therefore a similar smaller amount of collectors looking for coins. If 10 people are competing for a coin the price goes up quite a bit.
