Hello Rick,

The coin shown by your picture is a 10 centesimi from Italy, struck in 1939, but you have 2 chances......

A. It's the KM 74 in the krause catalog, 1939R in Copper, or.....
B. It's the KM 74A in the same catalog, then it's Aluminium-Bronze.

Here in europe it's a common coin that you find in the kilowhere, i'f got a few of those on my swap list as well, prices are going from 1 to 1 trade or 0,25 cents up to abouth 5,-- for an xf/unc one.

Greetings, and have a nice weekend,
Carl

The coin attracted my attention due to the axe and fasces on the reverse, very similar to the Mercury dimes which Iam so fond of.this coin appears to be copper.

I answered your email did you receive it ?

Yes Rick, got it just a moment ago, after my week break I will make you a nice list ;-)

For the axe, so how do you like the one on the french 50 centimes and 1 and 2 francs from the Vichy types then?

I guess I have not seen them or at least I dont remember seeing them, I get small lots of foreign coins at times when I buy bulk lots from private people around my area here,, its my only real contact with coins like these .

I have never gone in search of them !!
