This is a tough one for me. 1924 S is often weakly struck. I think I see wear on lapel, collar, shoulder, and wheat tips. I'd take a stab at AU 53.

I'm in at AU53 - looks like light wear going up his collar and lapel, also a light rub on the beard/jaw. Very nice I must say!
