That looks to be a Type 1 SLQ and is probably worth around $20.

I am no expert but I would say it is certain to be worth more than melt.

Very nice find. It has a lot of value over melt, I wonder why it was in a "junk" lot. Where did you find it, was it at a LCS?

More of a cash4gold place. She had a roll of 90% dimes and quarters. That was in the roll towards the bottom with other worn SLQs, makes me wonder if she was worried more about silver than numismatics :I

Probably. That's why it's a "cash 4 gold" and not a coin store. They are buying precious metal, not coins.

As already said, nice find with good value. My question is did you go into this store looking for coins? Just wondering how you go about buying coins in a place that is buying metal to make money?

I just simply asked if the lady had any silver coins for sale, to which she said she did. That was the product.
