Not sure what the country is, but the date on the coin reads (AH)1312, which translates to 1894 A.D.

Thanks for the fast response.
I was hoping it may have been early 18th century due to the off centre print.

If there is any more information anyone can give me, It would be appreciated.

No Ottoman coins similar to that one has been minted in late 1800's, to my knowledge.
the Tugha looks like Ottoman though. To be an official coin, there needs to be a number Under The Tughra.
after the breakdown of the empire, some ex-empire provincial rulers minted their own coins resembling Ottoman coins.
or, it may be a local Penez (Ottoman token)

The mint is "Omdurman". The coin is from Mahdist Sudan.

I appreciate all the input on this, I thought it might be a little rare.
It has darkened since I took these photo's,(10yrs ago) I suppose there is no silver in it.
Should I consider cleaning it up?
