I'm trying to put together a semi-customized Dansco album (details at bottom of message, if you're really that interested) which will ideally include two of the 7070 page (Page 5) that includes the bicentennial quarter, half, and dollar only, but not the "moderns" (SBA, Sacagawea, State Quarter, Commem Dollar, and ASE) which newer Dansco 7070s have. I got the first one by buying a used 7070 at the local coin shop on the cheap that was so old it included only three holes for the bicentennials, but not the coins termed "Modern U.S. Coinage" by the newer Dansco 7070s. (It was also so old that Classic Head Cents and Half Cents are referred to as "Turban Head" and Coronet and Braided Hair Cents are referred to as "Liberty HEad")

So, now I seek the second "bicenntennial-only" Dansco 7070 Page 5. Any good tips on where I might find it, besides continuing to troll the used supply sections of local coin shops and shows?

For those interested, the semi-custom album I'm attempting to build is a 1976 birth year set. Page 1 will be a "Year Set" page which includes 4 rows, each row with a hole for cent, nickel, dime, quarter, and half. This page will include P,D, and S of the 1976, cent, nickel, dime, quarter, and half, excluding silver versions, and the last row will be blank.

Page 2 will be a 9-hole Eisenhower dollar page, which will include non-silver versions P,D, and S of each of types 1 and 2, for a total of six coins, leaving the last row blank.

Page 3 will be the silver uncirculated quarter, half, and dollar while Page 4 will be the silver proof uncirculated quarter, half, and dollar.

In an ideal world, Dansco would have made the year set page with 5 rows (which would have been possible, as Dansco pages for halves have five rows), in which case the page would have held all cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, and halves, with the cent, nickel, and dime holes blank in the last two rows, while the Ike dollar page would hold all 8 dollars. The 4-page solution is the best alternative I could think of to do this year set and still maintain it in a Dansco. Adding another year set page would also allow this to work, but would mean one or both of the year set pages would be largely blank.

Regards,
Brian

My 7070 is labeled that way. However, my original page 5 had four holes, the fourth being one for the SBA. I have since updated that page.
Rest in Peace

Kena has the page you want and is looking for the page with the moderns. Maybe you can work a trade.
