Still in transit, but I bought a 1915-D Barber half on ebay for $13.50 in what looks like normal wear-and-tear on a coin. I've posted a link below, in a shortened version, for photos. Let me know if you guys think I got a deal, or just a normal $13.50 sale!

Judging by this seller's other items, I doubt that he knows how to grade.
I can see faint traces of "BER" which is very nice.

Still new to this.. what does BER add to the value of the coin? Should be here tomorrow, so I'll post plenty of photos!

The liberty band on the top of the head of the barber is one of the markers people use to grade them. Usually the more you can read of that the better shape the coin will be in.

The more letters you can read, the better. This is true for most coins of this era including Seated coins, IHCs, V nickels, and Barber coins like this one.
