Cracked out of a PCGS problem free slab. Lots of luster and dark chocolate surfaces. What did she grade?

That coin looks mint state to me, but I'm not comfortable assigning a grade with confidence. MS62 from rim nick

This is a beautiful coin. I think I see some wear in the hair above the ear so I would give it an AU58.

I was also thinking MS-62, but I'm not sure what to make of the nick on the rim at 3 o'clock on the obverse and how it affects the grade

MS62BN the rim knock does trouble me on this coin, hopefully it's not too bad since PCGS had it in a problem free holder before, I'm guessing it was in an older holder where the rims are obscured? Did you note the rim bump when you purchased the coin?

Because PCGS graded it I'll go Au58. I think NGC could have been MS on this.

Thanks for the opinions. The rim bump looks worse in the photos than it does in hand...its just a slight tick, and doesn't bother me since it now resides in an album anyways. It came out of a brand new holder and was graded MS-63. The luster is very strong, stronger than I captured, and this probably helped raise the grade.

Thanks Moe! I really love the 7070, hooked on it. I have completed all necessary upgrades to the Half Cents, since they all have original surfaces and nice luster. Next on the list is the Coronet Large Cent. I am happy with my classic head large cent(problem free XF-45).....but eventually will want to upgrade the draped bust large cent to a nice AU, but that one will be really pricey...:-P My overall goal is to have all type examples with original surfaces and noticable cartwheel luster; but that goal will never be fully attained, as a lustrous Classic Head Large Cent would be extremely expensive to the point where if I purchased one; I would not want to risk deslabbing it.
