It's not.

The coin has to look exactly like the one listed, not close. You have no doubling on the top of the 5 of the date, and the word TRUST has to have hub doubling as well.

I do see the seperation of serifs, I do beleive it is a minor DDO... But it is not yet designated or attributed, you may try contacting Coneca to see if they are interested in taking a look at it.

Another thought... a 5 over 4... I see something sneaking out at the top of curve in the five... Just observing, not jumping to conclusions... Just an idea...

Nope definately not the correct attribution.. As mentioned before, It has to match EXACTLY... The Dies that make an error or variety to not shift details...Each coin produced from a errored die will look the same because the imagage on the die stays the same. True there are differences in Die States, meaning the way they wear and age, but it will not affect the placement of the doubling significantly if at all... You coin is from an entirely different die set.

Your coin is not a doubled die at all. It's a normal 1935 cent.

I would caution you against taking pictures of a published books reference material and posting them on the internet or a forum like this. This is a violation of copyright laws, and if the rightful owner of the copyrighted images/info came along it could obviously mean trouble... I know your intentions are good, but it is still illegal without written permission from the publisher.

If you published a book and went through the time, work, and expense to do so it might be a more understandable issue to you. It's probably not easy to understand or appreciate the countless hours that went into publishing a book and the very meager profits made from same without going through it yourself. VarietyBuffalos is correct here and should be thanked for the information. It wouldn't be jail time, it would be a monetary judgement that could be garnished from wages if the authors or publishers of the book wanted to press the issue. Regardless of your age the law is the law...and no, they don't have bigger fish to fry. The bigger fish know better and don't copy infomration from other people's books without permission.

Why not go the easy way? Look at the photos on the coppercoins site, and check the MARKER photos. They will give you the info you need to answer your own question. IMHO. After checking the CPG, and your photos, There is not enough clarity to make a definite call. Again I suggest you look at the photos on site, then, if you can match the markers, you "got a good one"!
