I like this thread too and am happy to contribute. should we start a new thread with an appropriate title?

Naming a thread for each variety we spot will probably get more views.

OK then--we have a better shot at scoring a variety. Yeah--that's another nice RPD! I remember Rick Snow remarking on 64-L varieties...since this type runs high already, the varieties usually have a modest premium.

Who gets to decide who among the membership isn't worthy? I'm not qualified. And how would you stop anyone else from reading this?

Hmm...I just think starting a new, appropriately-titled thread for each coin found on ebay generates more interest. I'd like to think I gave everyone an equal opportunity to pick up that 1894/1894.

Good title: Unattributed coins for sale all around! This is a cool idea for you all who are sleuthing.

Any idea on what an 1882 broken top 2 in EF-AU condition is worth ? 2-3 times normal value ? I can't find anything. (and don't go lookin lol)

I wouldn't be surprised if a nicer-grade 1882 Snow-2 gets that--it's a dramatic, visible variety.

I've tried this game on ebay. I'm not very good at finding the goodies, but I think I recently got lucky. Will find out later in the week. It looks like an 1884 snow-4. Here's to hoping.

I don't have a picture of the 1884 Snow-4 in my book--it says "digit in hair curl" Look forward to pics! I picked up an 1887 Snow-1 (the DDO) today! Pictures when it arrives.
