Awesome cent! I think they gave it a AU-50.

Really tough in high grades. Shes beautiful. XF40. 45 would surprise me as the reverse is quite nice. Don't think it went 50. A great classic head example. Congrats

I will guess EF-45. A marvelous example of a tough type!

I think PCGS said EF45 but as to EAC grading? Probably a VF30,wonderful original surfaces with little even wear and great color, very hard to find these days in conditions like that!

still waiting on a grade for this beauty. Lots of folks guessed in the VF range, but I would be absolutely shocked if this graded less than a 40.

Thanks for all the nice comments from everyone.

PCGS gave this one an XF 40. I think they dinged it a bit for the dark color which I happen to like on it. Once I get it back shell be off to CAC

EDIT: Grade put in bold for anyone looking for it so it doesn't get lost in the replies

that is an AWESOME XF-40!! Deserves a green bean for sure. Is that luster around the stars? I thought it might be, if so, it might be a candidate for a resubmit.

Ironically this was the resubmit lol, exact same grade as before. I might try again at a later date but not right now.

There is some luster still on the reverse which basically looks untouched. The obverse had just enough rub to change the color in those spots but theres very little if any detail missing

I like your over date a lot. I usually go for stuff like that, but with the War of 1812 that date was too good for me to pass up.

In PCGS standards, it's got to be a 45
