was thinking of getting an ngc membership to send some coins in and debating if this would benefit from conserving.liberty is readable as is united states of amer(fades there) .stars,clouds,shield,wing detail,etc.there but obscured by ancient tone.thoughts?its in a pcgs fr2 holder

No, it's fine like it is. Besides, NCS would not elect to attempt conservation on this coin.

I don't think there is anything that can be done that would improve this old treasure piece.

Leave it alone and enjoy it for the rest of your life. Even though the coin is old and worn out it should still out last you! Nice coin!
