I thought this gouge below the 7 was a post mint error - but a closer look I don't know!

Also have a whole in the E on reverse. Extra pics cause I can't tell what is post mint. Any information on this would be grateful.

Hello Beckie
your IKE is post mint damage. looks to have been circulated them pulled from circulation by someone I hope you didn't pay a lot for it. the hole on the E looks like someone thought about drilling a hole for a chain then decided they need the buck.
sorry
Gary

I don't think it's post-mint damage. Looks like a struck through of some sort.

I'm going with Gary on this one, post mint. Does the damage carry around to the reeding?

If you look at the reverse you can see the rim is flattened from the E in STATES to the O in OF. Like someone pounded it. Stick something on the other side of the coin whilst you pound and presto... you've got it. The rim is even a little flat on the obverse.
