I have those H 39 air tite capsules for silver dollar coins I mentioned in my last thread. Tonight I got the ASE and all my world silver dollar coins in them except the figi taku turtle silver coin. It didn't fit.

I have 3 of them and I don't want them in the sleeve they were shipped in. Can some one tell me what size they need? In the H39 the problem was they fit perfect in the circular portion of the capsule but it was to thick to close it.

I use ex Royal Mint screw acrylic capsules of varying sizes, for some of my coins.
They come from proof sets that have been broken up the the dealer that sells the capsules, and are sold at 50 cents each.

Go to the Air-Tite website--- https://www.air-tites.com Look in their Coin Size Chart and Air-Tite Size Chart in the yellow
section of the subject listing near the middle of the left side of the home page. The info you're looking for should be there.

The Figi Taku turtle silver coin has a diameter of 40.5mm. You'll have to pick up 41mm Air Tite.

The coin is minted by the New Zealand Mint, and they may be able to recommend something with a snug fit. Coins moving in air tight capsules is not good, for both the abrasive problem, althought minor, and the air trapped inside. The point of using a capsule is to keep the coin both physically and environmentally safe.
