Hello everyone. I just received this '63D Franklin half. I bought it off of ebay. The seller wanted $33 for it, but accepted my offer of $28. It's still in the original mint packaging, and I'm hoping I didn't overpay for it. Sorry if the pics aren't top quality, I have to use my webcam and hold it in my hand. your grading opinions are always appreciated. Thanks.

It would have to grade MS-65 to get your money back, but still a nice coin.

I'm not quite sure, but FMV for a Franklin MS64 is around 25 ... I'd poke around HA and see how yours compares.

All that matter is if you like it.. My advice next time price out a entire mint set usually the best buy oddly most auctions go higher when its a single coin.

I would also agree ms 62-63 just to much light splash. Not sure how your collection is but dansco has a nice non proof two page book dedicated to the coins. I love Franklin and Kennedy halves. If you have a nearby coin shop and they arent stingy with the grey sheet or perhaps if they have one not to old they could give you its a great guidline for future purposes. Nice coin tho. http://www.franklinlover.yolasite.com this site has been helpful in my franklin searches that and the CPG
