i see why you like it.
I doubt you'll ever remove the reverse corrosion without absolutely ruining the coin.

Is that a repunched date. Also it looks like someone already tried to clean the reverse lot of lines running east and west. I'll send the picture to my buddy in fla and ask what we should do he's excellent but I don't know if he'll share his tricks.

Those look like die polish lines to me.

that is what you say lincolnguy.polished lines, in the obverse have many more than the reverse but by the angle of picture cant see it.

If you want to make it look original, I'd buy a BU coin. It would be cheaper. The date show Die Deterioration Doubling and the coin is a plated coin. Staining or the green stuff will always show. Some products will attempt to remove, but it never goes away totally.
