XF45 here. Love the rays variety. Took me over a year to find the one I wanted in my 7070
Rest in Peace

AU50 I think, AU53 wouldn't be out of the question either, these regularly come very weakly struck not all the horizontal lines in the shield will show clearly, not always due to wear. My first guess was EF45 but I edited this post, I'm usually wrong on when I 2nd guess, myself, I sure hope I am for your sake. But after looking at this again, I see what appears to be a fair bit of luster on the surfaces that has survived. I know the price really jumps at AU for the "with rays" variety.

Sure looks like a nice DDO too!

Actually it's a RPD.

Although it does look like there is a MPD below the "6" and above the denticles.

Okay I think I see the MPD on the 7 now that you bring that up, but the annulet looked like it was a bit thicker towards 1:00 I was thinking that is a PUP for the doubling but not much as I can't see up close and the lines don't seem to have any doubling I can see.

EDIT: Looks like I caught your "MPD" post, before you edited to change to RPD! WellMPD or RPD - either way it's a good one, weirdness all over the date area! Are you sure no doubling on the annulet? Circle below the cross for those that wonder what I speak of. The spell checker seems to want me to change annulet to amulet, LOL, which it is NOT.

Sorry Wes, I got my acronyms mixed up .

For those who may be unfamiliar;

MPD stands for Misplaced Date

RPD stands for Repunched Date

I know, you know, that I know that, still from the first set of photos only it could've been a MPD.

The re-punching is really out there, look how far over the six shifted from the first attempt. I had to really look before it just jumped out. The seven is easy to spot since there is a good chunk still showing from the first punch. Very neato!

There does appear to be (minor) "doubling" on the annulet and "IN GOD", a few of the leaves and the shield outline.

Probably Machine Doubling.

Im going to cheat since I'm terrible at these and say knowing your set no less than an AU and wouldnt be surprised if it was as high as MS 62/63. Looks AU to me though and agree the shield is just a result of a weak strike not wear. Very weird pattern for something to wear like that

I think the surfaces looks somewhat lustrous too from the photos. I'm going to go with AU-53/55
